We are a family owned business and have built our business around meeting our customers requirements. We are a progressive company, playing a leading role in embracing new developments within the UK industry, and are a major supplier to the UK market, as well as supplying increasing numbers of export markets. 

Our company is located on the English/Welsh border, an area noted for its lush, green hilly pastures from which naturally reared product can be sourced. Indeed our location gives us access to an abundant supply of lamb from the surrounding areas, and we source significant quantities of our lamb from Wales, as well as from Scotland and England. Consumers throughout Europe value naturally reared lamb, and we are very well positioned to supply you with this natural wholesome product.

Euro Quality Lambs Limited can process up to 15,000 lambs a week, and can supply both lamb and ewe carcasses to meet all your specifications. As a company we are extremely committed to exports, indeed the majority of our production is geared towards export. Indeed Euro Quality Lambs Limited has long standing trading relationships with key European markets, including France, Spain and Portugal.

OUR GUARANTEE OF QUALITY

We are continually working to develop ever closer links with our suppliers, working with them to ensure that they supply us with premium quality products which we can then process to our exacting standards. Above all we aim to ensure that we are able to meet our customers exact requirements. 

We have an active producers club whose membership is continually increasing. With the growth of our direct links with producers we are able to continually enhance our traceability systems, as well as ensure that our suppliers are working towards the extremely high standards as set out under independently audited farm assurance schemes. Indeed more and more of our product is farm assured. 

Euro Quality Lambs Limited is export certified, meeting stringent European standards and controls for both the processing of lamb and ewe carcasses. All slaughtering is carried out under full-time supervision of a Vetinary officer, as well as the Meat Hygiene Service. Additionally we are able to supply halal product.

OUR HALAL QUALITY GUARANTEE

Euro Quality Lambs Ltd is a specialised and dedicated Halal meat processor. It is owned and run by a Muslim family. All the Halal slaughtering and further processing is carried out according to the Muslim rites. 

Mr S M Khalid, the Chairman and Chief Executive, is known as "Mr Halal" in the meat industry, not just in the UK but throughout Europe. He has been involved in the processing of Halal lamb meats and meat products for the last 30 years. He has contributed significantly towards the cause for Halal Meat Processing, including representing the various organisations at national and international level.

We have dedicated Halal slaughtermen who carry out the Halal slaughtering in accordance with the Muslim rites. The meat is then processed under strict supervision of the Vetinary in charge, appointed independently by the Meat Hygiene Services section of the UK Government. The meat is then put into the refrigerator lorries, again under the supervision of the above inspectors, for deliveries to our customers across the UK and Europe. We have a fleet of lorries ready to take this Halal meat to your door. 

The European Union as a matter of rule inspects and allots a unique number to abattoirs to identify the source of meat. Euro Quality Lambs Ltd was allocated UK 4451, no other abattoir will have this number. So next time, when buying halal lamb meat, ask for UK 4451 on the carcass and boxes.

The meat is guaranteed to be Halal, and is prepared at all stages so that you can eat it with absolute peace of mind.
